Driver Qualifications
Any application that contains (i) a prior Drug or Alcohol conviction or (ii) participation in a SAP program, within the last five (5) years, will NOT be eligible to lease on or to be employed with EDG Freight.
To become a driver for EDG Freight, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must live within 50 miles of the Houston Metro area
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Must have 2 years of verifiable experience
- PSP with 5 or more inspections with OOS of 30% or less
- No more than 2 minor preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- No convictions for serious traffic violations in the past 3 years
- No felony convictions involving the use of a commercial vehicle
